A Resolution

Resolved, that President George W. Bush be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, and that the following articles of impeachment be exhibited to the United States Senate:

Articles of impeachment exhibited by the House of Representatives of the United States of America in the name of itself and of the people of the United States of America, in maintenance and support of its impeachment against President George W. Bush for high crimes and misdemeanors.

In his conduct while President of the United States, George W. Bush, in violation of his constitutional oath to faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has committed the following abuses of power.

Creating a Secret Propaganda Campaign to Manufacture a False Case for War Against Iraq.

Article II
Falsely, Systematically, and with Criminal Intent Conflating the Attacks of September 11, 2001, With Misrepresentation of Iraq as a Security Threat as Part of Fraudulent Justification for a War of Aggression.

Misleading the American People and Members of Congress to Believe Iraq Possessed Weapons of Mass Destruction, to Manufacture a False Case for War.

Prince Harry: Courageous Matt Drudge: Inexcuseable


As I’ve written before…people shock the hell out of me!It happened again.

Irresponsible journalism set a new standard yesterday when Matt Drudge of The Drudge Report published the news of Prince Harry’s location on the front lines in Afghanistan. This shocking, appalling, and reprehensible leak of information placed not only Prince Harry’s life at even greater risk, but also placed the risk of all of the soldiers serving along side him — ALL of the soldiers serving alongside him.

George Bush: 3 Polar Bears/Gray Wolves/America: 0

February has proved to be a successful month for the Bush Administration. While millions of eyes — including the media — are focused on the desire for change NEXT January, the Bush Administration has continued to strike hard against the environment and for illegal court proceedings.According to the Anchorage Daily News, on February 6, 2008, the Dutch oil company Shell paid a record bid of $105,304,581 to the U.S. Government for a single tract of land in Alaska. The day’s auction for 2.8 million acres of federal land in Alaska’s Chukchi polar sea brought out the BIG GUY oil companies. Record breaking bids between Shell and Conoco Phillips transpired much of the day.

I DO CARE.

Two days ago I received a FWD to my inbox that I’d received once before, but deleted it after reading only the first two lines. This time I read it in full.

YIKES!

A feeling of disgust that I’d deleted the FWD the first time washed over me. Why didn’t I read it and respond to the sender then? If I were at a party and heard someone actually saying the words written in the FWD, I would constructively and in love respond to the storyteller. So, why did I not do that with an email?
